Prior to founding the law firm, Mr. Cooney served as General Counsel for a conglomerate of companies in New York and was also a partner and chair of a legal department at one of the region’s leading business law firms, Ruskin Moscou Faltischek.  Mr. Cooney has counseled both private and publicly traded companies on a vast array of legal issues and successfully represented clients in a variety of sophisticated investigations, including criminal and civil cases involving federal and state authorities.
