The Firm offers fractional general counsel services for your business to assist with day-to-day legal challenges and business decisions.  As fractional general counsel, Mr. Cooney works seamlessly with management and existing counsel in an efficient and cost-effective manner.  Mr. Cooney has successfully counseled both private and publicly traded companies on a vast array of legal issues through a combination of unparalleled business, legal, and technical experience.  Mr. Cooney has served as General Counsel for a conglomerate of companies and was also a partner at one of the region’s leading business law firm, Ruskin Moscou Faltischek.  Prior to becoming an attorney, Mr. Cooney was trained as a software engineer at Columbia University and his technical background proves particularly useful given our increased use and integration of information technologies and analytics.

Mr. Cooney has counseled both private and publicly traded companies on a vast array of legal issues and successfully represented clients in a variety of sophisticated investigations, including criminal and civil cases involving federal and state authorities.  Prior to founding his law firm, Mr. Cooney was a partner at Ruskin Moscou Faltischek P.C. and a member of the firm's White-Collar Crime and Investigations Practice Group, Health Law Department, as well as chair of the firm's Cybersecurity and Data Privacy Practice Group.
